What a workshop!! The participants all had a wonderful learning experience...all EXCEPT the four Saginaw H.S. Theatre Arts students who were hired by Summyr Whaley to set up and run the sound/lighting systems for 8&a1Heres what they learned: After the workshop was over they were payed Half what they were promised by Whaley who then stopped payment on the checks she wrote so the students not only got stiffed completely but they actually had to pay bank fees on the cancelled checks. Meanwhile Whaley got to pocket an extra $1,200 . Ask them what THEY learned about the New York Rockette style dance experience and you'll get a lesson about deceit, fraud, and how the Dance industry neglected to teach ms. Whaley anything about ethical (or legal) business practices!!!
